ELECTRONIC FILE STORAGE
In general, Comp Digital Imaging attempts to store digital page layout files created here for our customers. We do this primarily as a service to our customers, who after the completion of the original project, wish to update, revise or make additions at a later date. Comp Digital Imaging makes no guarantees express or implied as to the continued storage of this data after the completion of a project, or to the longevity thereof, particularly with projects involving digital black and white or color halftones, which are retained for a period of 10 days only after the completion of a project. After this period of time, retrieval fees apply on an hourly basis.
TURNAROUND TIMES
Turnaround times vary according to complexity and size of the job. Missing files, fonts, links or unprepared files may affect delivery. Turnaround time begins after all information, any missing elements, including corrections and revisions, have been received. General Turnaround time is twenty-four hours for pre-press. For Printing call for schedule.
PROOFS
A proof of all files to be output MUST be received with a completed order form.
PRIORITY SCHEDULING
Priority scheduling of projects is essential to both our clients and Comp Digital Imaging. When faster than normal turnaround is required, we reserve the right to charge a RUSH fee of up to 100% of the cost of the project. RUSH charges become necessary when Comp Digital Imaging must bump or re-schedule another client as a result of a project with such a tight schedule. Immediate Service 100% Same Day Service 50%
THIRD PARTY DELIVERIES
Third party deliveries will be billed out at a nominal rate.
LIABILITY
It is important to note that our liability is limited, in accordance with traditional prepress standards, to replacement of any full service that is defective in any way. We are not responsible, financially or otherwise, for reproductions made from film, paper, scanning, etc. that we produce. An intermediate proof should always be generated from the films and/or scans to disk before final printing. Comp Digital Imaging liabilities are limited only to replacement of defective service. Preflighting of files is very important before sending a job to us. We do our best to do an internal check on customers files, but sometimes time frames limit ourselves from thoroughly checking your files completely. It is the customers responsibility to make sure that all your files are complete and in proper format. We assume no responsibility for incomplete files. Customer should send separated laser proofs, and should proof films before final printing. |
